TWO OFFICES
IN ONE CITY
Most firms that advertise in Virginia Beach commute here. We keep two addresses in it. One on Haygood Road, one at Office Square Lane in Kempsville — because a city this large doesn’t have a center, and telling somebody in Sandbridge to drive to Norfolk is not really serving them.
Virginia Beach also isn’t one place. A claim out of the Oceanfront in July has almost nothing in common with one out of Kempsville in February — different drivers, different insurers, sometimes a different court calendar. Knowing which is which is not something you pick up on a first visit.
Our attorneys handle injury, criminal and traffic matters in the Virginia Beach General District, Circuit, and Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courts. We have represented 252 injured people in this city in the last two years, and we have been in these courtrooms for decades before that.
HOW WE HELP IN VIRGINIA BEACH
OUR ATTORNEYS
ARE FROM HERE TOO
Jeffrey Partington was raised in Virginia Beach and spent years in the Lake Smith Terrace, Governor’s Square and Haygood Point Civic League — the neighborhoods around the office he works out of. Martin Thomas has served on the city’s Bayfront Advisory Commission, and if you ask him for his favorite spot in Hampton Roads he’ll tell you it’s his own back garden on the Chesapeake Bay.
Pete Decker III sits on the board of the Virginia Beach Police Foundation. He, George Neskis and Cole Roberts all belong to the Virginia Beach Bar Association. For more than forty years the late Larry Cardon spent most of his working life in this city’s courtrooms, and people here still bring him up.
None of that decides a case. What it means is that this firm isn’t visiting Virginia Beach — and that when your matter closes, we’re still the people you run into at the grocery store.
